What has this to do with our adoption? Only that we think of it as our last trip before we have a little one. I’m excited. We’re traveling with Intrepid Travel which we did for part of our China trip years ago. They are great at being friendly to the environment and to local economy. We’ll stay in locally owned hotels and use public transportation. Also, the tour is more about helping you get from place to place and setting you up with a bed than anything else. They will recommend things to check out, but get out or our way a lot of the time. The “tour” lasts 15 days and we’ve tacked on a few days of resort time near Playa Del Carmen at the end. Intrepid is inexpensive and we were able to get free flights through our mileage plan. Mid November can’t come soon enough.
